Hi again Sophie! Hope you got my email. 😀
Pea’s Book of Birthdays is your favourite? Brilliant – I was worried people might find a few parts of that one a bit more melancholy than they were expecting, so that’s extra-lovely to hear. xx
Yeah I love it soooooooo much. I finds that pea is like me in most ways because I like writing and I like playing with my sisters as well see u soon

Hi Susie! I looooove the Pea books! I’ve read all of them! But I’m a bit confused. What is Sam’s book of secrets? Is it going to be, like, a 5th Pea book but by the point of view of Sam 1 ? Is it out yet?
I’m nearly 12 so I’m also interested in reading your books for teens!

Hi Lilli,
So pleased to hear you love the Pea books! Yes, Sam’s Book is exactly that – a new story with Sam One at the centre instead of Pea. But I’m still working on it, and it won’t be out until next year, sorry.
If you’re interested in something a little bit older, you might like to try The Twice-Lived Summer of Bluebell Jones. It’s quite different from Pea (you might need tissues!) but nearly 12 is the perfect age. 🙂 Hope you enjoy it.

I know. I posted my last comment AGES ago, but now is a good time to comment again. Took your advice and found the twice lived summer of bluebell jones. It was a really happy book. Well, until the end came. I cried. Seriously. I cried so much my eyes were red and my pillow was soaked. I really should of had a pack of tissues close by. The book left me with questions, questions, So many questions! What happens after? How does Fozzie, Dan, Mags and Merlin feel when they find out? What do Blue’s friends, like Grace feel? Does Blue ever come back as a ghost to see Peanut? Sorry if my comment is a spoiler, I didn’t mean it. Anyway. That book is the best EVER book ever created.
