The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (Kate DiCamillo, 2019)

One day, grandmother Pellegrina gave her beloved grandchild Abilene an incredible toy, a cute rabbit named Edward Tulane. It was made of porcelain, a very fragile material. The little porcelain pet had a very diverse wardrobe, full of stylish silk suits and unusual accessories, including a gold watch on a chain. Abilene became very attached to the toy: she constantly kissed it, changed its clothes, and wound its watch every day. However, the rabbit loved no one but itself. One day, the girl and her parents went on a trip to the sea. By an unfortunate accident, the toy fell overboard and sank to the bottom of the sea.

An elderly man fishing on the shore accidentally caught a toy and brought it to his wife. After that, Edward got to different people: to the kind and worthy, and to the evil and vicious. Such difficulties helped the rabbit gradually become kinder and realize that it is important to reciprocate a good attitude.
